No Surprises Act
As of January 1, 2022, the No Surprises Act (NSA) was put into effect which requires that all healthcare providers notify patients regarding the NSA’s protections against surprise billing for out-of-network or self-pay services. Therefore, in accordance with this law you have the legal right to ask that Authentic Living, LLC provide a "Good Faith Estimate" at least 1 business day before your scheduled session for services if you are planning to utilize out-of-network options for treatment. However, given that one’s treatment duration can be influenced by a number of factors including but not limited to, life transitions, sudden illness or loss, or additional unforeseen stressors, Authentic Living, LLC does not provide clients with a written Good Faith Estimate unless this request is specifically requested by the client.
